New Baby Desitin Tradition

Just before Rafael was born, Michael got into the Desitin (butt cream) and consumed a large amount of what was in a full tube. I was reassured by the representative I spoke to at Poison Control that Michael should be okay and this was a common occurrence amongst youngsters. Then when Rafael was born, Joey and I were giving Michael a pep-talk about how being an older brother means looking out for and protecting your younger sibling. Michael then explained he was going to tell his younger brother not to eat Desitin.

So...fast forward to baby #3 who was 2 weeks old when Rafael had his Desitin incident. We were feeling brave and getting ready to go on our first family outing with all 5 of us going to the zoo. Rafael was hiding in the corner of the nursery and anytime one of us would enter the room, he would call out "leave me alone", which is Rafael code meaning that he's pooping in his diaper. We let Rafael have privacy and went about out business, prepping for the zoo. Joey asked Michael what animal he wanted to see and Rafael called out from the nursery that he didn't want to go to the zoo and he was afraid of the tigers and elephants. We all got ready and Rafael never came out of the corner of the nursery so Joey went in only to discover Rafael had not pooped, he was stalling us...
